Push Your Talent To The Limit……MaxOut!

Featured Model: Kahlelah Goodine (Van Nuys, CA)

The first word that comes to mind when I think of Kahlelah Goodine is “WOW”.  This very talent and sexy model has climbed her way to the top of her game.  I first came across Kahlelah when I was casting for the Shades of Beauty calendar and I have been in awe eversince.  Please read more about Kahlelah and her extensive modeling experience below…

Modeling has not always been my aspirations. My dream was to become a famous singer. God blessed me with the vocal talent, which first began with my mother, then passed along to me. My singing ability carried me through the church choir, Westchester High school graduation, college events & graduation, and a stage performance for the 2006 LA Black Business Expo Urban Idol Competition, earning me the highest score for the R&B genre. Most recently, I’ve sang backup for recording artist Vi, and gave my voice for two test tracks to be shopped around to current pop artists . . .

Upon graduation on June 13, 2004 from the University of California, Santa Cruz, from which I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Film & Digital Media, my feet temporarily landed me in Fresno, CA; surprisingly, Fresno is where I received my first few modeling opportunities. A dear friend of mine, Monica Chatman, introduced me to her photographer Ed Lawrence, thus becoming my first professional photo shoot. Soon after, I navigated myself to working with Mrs. Brenda Buckingham, of Buckingham Images & Modeling Agency. Through Buckingham Images, I modeled in three local fashion shows, providing makeup for one of them. I received minor modeling opportunities while residing in Fresno, CA, and all endeavors were during my working a corporate 8-5 job.

Modeling between the end of 2005, and summer of 2006, was halted due to personal circumstances, and relocation (from Fresno back to Inglewood), and resumed towards the end of summer 2006. The first fashion show after my homecoming was with popular LA clothing designer Kami Shade, for her then-bi-monthly fashion showcase, Hollywood Shop ‘Til You Drop. My first clothing line web catalog shoot was for popular LA/Atlanta designer Miquel Torres, and 2006 marked my first taste on the set of two music videos.

My experience has nonetheless provided me with the significant steps toward establishing an international career in modeling and, potentially, acting, and the tools to guide and teach other young urban women who are aspiring models/actresses. As I have grown through this industry, I have lent an unchanging helping hand to fellow models, made myself available to more opportunities, and I am very thankful to my Lord & Savoir for the doors that have opened for me. Currently, I am spokesmodeling for Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge vehicles.  My portfolio also includes Moet Hennessy USA, Cabo Wabo Tequila, among many other beverage brands.  Additionally, I am working toward beginning my own model management & staffing company. 2009 was my time to shine, and in 2010 I was next in line, so now in 2011, there will be NO half-steppin’!

SPECIAL THANKS TO ALL THOSE WHO HAVE BELIEVED IN ME, SUPPORTED ME, AND WHO CONTINUE TO PRAY WITH ME, FOR ME, AS I TREAD THIS PATH. NEVER WILL I LOSE SIGHT OF MY GOALS, NEVER WILL I LACK IN PRODUCTIVITY. I WON’T LETCHA DOWN!!  (Kahlelah Goodine)
